Alright, I like to think that I’m a smart guy and as such  I like to engage the smart making part of my noodle and on occasion and play me some bar trivia.  The team I’m on not only knows the most random obscure crap but also knows this crap in languages I didn’t know existed.  Hell, they even know sports.  I think collectively, they’re three IQ points shy of shedding their corporeal form and becoming transcendental energy, yet somehow we manage to only place second.  Which leads me to believe the team that consistently beats us has SKYNET as a member.

Point being, Buzz Aldrin, drink it and give me a sideways glance later.  4 parts Tang, 2 parts peach vodka, one part Triple Sec, lace the rim of the glace with granulated Tang, ruffies to taste.  It’s the most manly drink on the planet.  No?  Have you walked on the moon?  Then shut the fuck up.

Anyways, aside from my good looks I contribute very little to trivia night, I walk away feeling dumb.  Which is why on Thursday night’s I can typically be found a few miles down 95 at Sally’s Pitt Stop specializing in trucker showers and lawn dart tournaments.  A man needs balance in his life.

Listen, I’m not going to admit to a tentacle fetish… at least not publicly, but I will say this: if you’re a clean cut looking guy and you want to crash and burn in record time then approach a group of tattooed -err- tentacled girls.  Seriously, it’s fun, have I steered you wrong before?

In other news, Jersey, specifically Atlantic City, is a weird yet magical place.  It is not the America I know yet I was surprised by how quickly I normalized to five dollah 40′s and seeing grown men pee on fire hydrants in the ‘good’ part of town and how quickly a place can change from nice to straight out slum (less than a block).  If you have yet to go I highly recommend it (all kidding aside, it’s an amazing town).  Furthermore, Firewater’s in the Tropicana, 50+ draft beers on tap, decent bottle selection, good enough music for a Friday night and you can run into all the tentacled ladies you would like AND what are probably drug dealers flush with cash from slanging all week in the big city.  I would travel 3 parsecs to get back to this bar.
